Each year, U.S. Veterans Magazine conducts a national evaluation to identify the organizations and institutions that go above and beyond in supporting veterans and transitioning service members. Gulf Coast State College was recognized based on U.S. Veterans Magazine’s independent evaluation process, which reviews publicly available information, veteran-focused initiatives, support resources, and overall engagement with the veteran community.

The evaluation team identified veteran-supportive resources and initiatives that aligned with the criteria outlined for recognition, including veteran student support services, campus resources, military-affiliated programming, career support, and other verified veteran-focused efforts.
