Tyndall Connects will take place on Tuesday, 24 September from 1100–1300 at the Tyndall AFB Fitness Center. This event is part of our Suicide Prevention Awareness Month initiatives, designed to strengthen community connectedness—the number one protective factor against all forms of violence, including suicide. Our goal is to give people a chance to find others with similar interests and build meaningful, lasting connections. 

Here’s what the event looks like: 

What: A club/group/organization fair encouraging both existing groups to recruit new members and individuals to start new clubs. 

Who: Open to all Tyndall personnel and local community organizations—anyone looking to connect, recruit, or launch something new (even a Quidditch Club!). 

When: Tuesday, 24 September from 1100–1300. Where: Tyndall Fitness Center – basketball court area. 

Why: To promote connection, belonging, and positive mental health as part of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.
