The Gulf Coast State College Anthropology Club and the Bay Anthropological Society proudly present “Mission to the Ocean Floor: The Recovery of Missing Men from World War II.” The presentation will be led by retired Navy Diving Officer CWO4 Randy Duncan and Master Chief/Master Diver Rodney Atherton. They will highlight their work with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), leading a team in the recovery of World War II servicemen lost in a crash on September 1, 1944, during a mission over Koror, Palau in the western Pacific Ocean.
