Bay County Chamber of Commerce to Host Candidate Stump Speeches at August First Friday
PANAMA CITY, Fla. – The Bay County Chamber of Commerce invites members to attend its August First Friday, presented by Tyndall Federal Credit Union, on Friday, August 7, at Florida State University Panama City.
Coffee and networking will begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by the program at 8:00 a.m.
This month's program will feature Candidate Stump Speeches, giving candidates seeking local elected offices one minute each to introduce themselves and share why they are running. The event provides Chamber members and community leaders with the opportunity to hear directly from those seeking to serve Bay County ahead of the upcoming election.
"As a Chamber, one of our priorities is ensuring our members are informed and engaged," said Lisa Moore, Vice President of Events & Foundation for the Bay County Chamber of Commerce. "First Friday gives our members the opportunity to hear directly from the candidates, learn about the individuals who are seeking public office, and become more informed voters. We encourage everyone to join us for this important program."
First Friday is held monthly and brings together business professionals, elected officials, and community leaders to network, learn, and stay connected on issues affecting Bay County.
The Bay County Chamber of Commerce encourages all members to attend this informative program and take advantage of the opportunity to connect with fellow business leaders while hearing from the candidates.
