The Bay County Chamber of Commerce proudly invites you to a special welcome reception honoring the leadership and command team of the USS Pierre, one of the U.S. Navy’s newest vessels. This monumental event celebrates the partnership between our military community, Naval Support Activity Panama City, and the Port of Panama City, both of which play vital roles in advancing America’s maritime readiness and economic strength. Join us for an evening of camaraderie, recognition, and Bay County hospitality as we officially welcome the USS Pierre command leadership to our community ahead of the ship’s commissioning later that week. Event Details: Date: Wednesday, November 12, 2025 (Note: This reception precedes the official commissioning on November 15.) Location: Hotel Indigo | 32401, Panama City, FL Open Bar: Opens at 5:30 p.m. Program: Begins at 6:00 p.m. (approximately 30–45 minutes) Bar Service Continues: Until 7:15 p.m. Attire: Business or military dress.
